The following courses to be offered during the autumn:

Creating Backgrounds for Embroidery

Session 1

·         Printing using fabric paint, acrylics, simple dyes

·         chance to explore the potential of scrap material & everyday items

·         polystyrene printing

·         using simple resists to create pattern

Session 2

·         using fabric paints, crayons and Markal sticks, try a variety of techniques from simple painting to combination methods

Session 3

·         experiment with fabric transfer paint using painting, printing, tearing & layering
