Starting with the design of a simple tile pattern (which could evolve from a look at the textiles from a particular era or culture), each child would make and use a polystyrene printing tile to print fabric.
A simple stencil would then be used to add more printing to the fabric. The design would then be embellished with stitch, thread, beads and buttons.  These may be individually mounted or joined together to make a class hanging or banner.

Please note:
Participatory class workshops would last around 3 hours, over two (preferably morning) sessions, apart from “Fabulous Felting.”  This would last one session, but would best be combined with “What about wool?”.
