Creative Sketchbooks
Suitable for KS2/Gifted & Talented
Maximum: 12 children per 10 sessions

This is a 9 week course to inspire and challenge your artistic students and creative thinkers.

An introduction to exploring sketchbook work through shape, line, colour and pattern, those attending will have the opportunity to look at an artist's sketchbook and gain some insight as to how a finished piece of art is developed from an initial idea. Through images, they will be introduced to a range of artists work.

Throughout the course, children will be inspired to think creatively and work with a variety of media. They will have the opportunity to produce and develop their own artistic ideas through sketchbook experimentation and will need the enthusiasm and commitment to try suggested challenges themselves between each session.

These ideas will then be utilised to choose, produce and develop a final piece of art to be exhibited for friends and family at the end of the sessions.
